What is Recruitment?
Recruitment is a formal period of time for women who are interested in Delta Phi Lambda to find out if the sorority is right for them. It is an opportunity for interested women to meet the Sisters and learn more about Delta Phi Lambda and sorority life in general.
What are Recruitment events?
Recruitment events are set up by the Sisters of the chapter in order for interested women to get to know Sisters and to learn more about Delta Phi Lambda. Although we hope that you would attend all of our recruitment events, we understand that it may not be possible, therefore we encourage you to attend as many as you can.
Do I have to pay?
All recruitment events and rides are FREE!!! There are no obligations, just a chance for interested women to get to know us and have fun!
For those interested in joining Delta Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc.,
1. Be 18 years of age to join our Sisterhood.
2. A GPA of 2.70 is required.

What it's like to be a Sister of Delta Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc!
We cannot wait to welcome another class of new members into our chapter. Through bid day, new member education, class bonding, big/little reveal, and chapter events, new membership is always an exciting time.
Here's what one of our current Sister has to say about why she joined DPhiL! #WHYDFL
"Going to DePaul, I realized it was really hard to meet people who I could relate to. I just didn’t feel like I could fit into a school in the city until my friend from high school (who’s also my line sister AYYY @christine) convinced me to go to the first day of rush. With a bit of persuasion, she finally dragged me into the room where I met the active house. I swear, when I left the room, I was so set that this is what I wanted to join for the rest of my time at DePaul (and forever cause that everlasting sisterhood doe). I shyly sat down and got to know all the sisters one by one, meanwhile they opened my eyes to the ignorance I carried in my perception on sorority and greek life. It was that day that I decided to rush and join. I have never regretted that choice since that first day of rush."- Eunice "Sachiko" Kang, DPhiL Alum
